Wealth Management – a Holistic Approach to the Client Relationship
Investment Management serves as the core of our day-to-day relationship with our clients, and the basis for our fee. However, given the time we spend assessing the overall needs and goals of our clients and the relationships we develop as we serve those needs, we are in a unique position to provide more than just advice on investments. Our Wealth Management program seeks to identify and resolve areas of concern our clients may be facing in their overall financial picture.
Retirements Projection – In addressing these areas of concern, we may provide a projection of retirement income and assets, to give the clients comfort with their savings or spending levels.
Estate Plan Review – For some clients, an estate plan review or update may be needed. We work with the client and their estate-planning attorney to be sure that the documentation accomplishes the client’s objectives for their estate. Other clients have pressing issues regarding the adequacy of their insurance coverage or the liquidity needed to support changing living expenses.
Analyses – We prepare analyses as required, specifically tailored to the issues of concern to our clients. Throughout the client relationship, we are attuned to these broader wealth management needs, addressing new issues as they become pertinent to a client’s situation.
Resource Center – Through our Wealth Management program, we serve as the resource center for the financial issues of concern to the client. High net worth families have multiple needs and multiple advisers. Unsure of where to turn with a question or concern, they may postpone addressing important issues. We help identify and resolve these areas of concern in our client’s overall financial picture, working with their attorney, tax accountant or other advisers when necessary.
Fee Structure – Our Wealth Management program is available to our larger (greater than $500,000) investment management relationships at no additional charge.
