  • Our Strategy: Client’s asset allocation - how much of their funds should be invested in stocks, bonds and cash.
Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s entire financial picture and their investment history and experience.

Working with a knowledgeable, experienced, credentialed portfolio manager is a hallmark of Parker Carlson & Johnson.

Growth - We view the stock component as the growth engine of the portfolio. Our portfolio management style is Capital Appreciation and is suited for a growth investment objective. Our clients come to us because they have a growth investment objective, therefore, most of our client portfolios own the same stock investments. We have a core group of stocks we like and purchase them for all of our clients. These are the same stocks owned by the partners of the firm in their own retirement accounts.

Stability - The bond and cash components serve as the mechanisms to provide stability to the portfolio and meet the cashflow needs of the client. For a balanced allocation, we like to have three to five years of annual cash flows invested in these two components. We generally employ a buy and hold strategy for these investments.
